LinkedIn Safety
Does Vidgram automate any LinkedIn activity?+
No. Vidgram never sends messages, connection requests, or any communication on your behalf. You record a video, review it, and manually click send in the LinkedIn DM composer. Every message is a deliberate, human action. There is no auto-sending, no scheduled sends, and no bot behavior of any kind.
Does Vidgram scrape LinkedIn data?+
The Chrome extension reads the profile you're currently viewing — the same information visible to you on the page. It does not bulk scrape profiles, crawl LinkedIn, or access data you wouldn't normally see. It's the equivalent of you reading the profile and typing the information into a notepad, just faster.
Will LinkedIn flag or restrict my account for using Vidgram?+
Vidgram uses LinkedIn's native file attachment feature to deliver video — the same way you'd manually attach any file to a DM. LinkedIn sees a normal message with a file attachment, because that's exactly what it is. There's no injection of code, no manipulation of LinkedIn's UI, and no behavior that violates LinkedIn's terms of service.
Has anyone had their LinkedIn account restricted from using Vidgram?+
No. Vidgram is designed specifically to stay within LinkedIn's intended use patterns. The extension assists with recording and script generation, but the actual LinkedIn interaction — sending the message — is always done by you.
For Reps
How long does it take to record and send a video?+
Under 90 seconds from landing on a LinkedIn profile to video in the DM. The extension detects the prospect, generates a personalized script, and presents a teleprompter. You hit record, read the script, and send. No editing, no uploading, no context switching.
What's the difference between sending as video vs sending as link?+
Send as Video attaches the file directly to the LinkedIn DM — the prospect plays it right in the conversation with zero friction. Send as Link creates a hosted landing page with your name, avatar, and an optional booking calendar. The tradeoff: video attachments get higher open rates because there is nothing to click, while hosted links give you engagement tracking and real-time watch notifications.
Does this work with Sales Navigator?+
Yes. Vidgram works on both standard LinkedIn and Sales Navigator profiles. On Sales Navigator InMail, video file attachments aren't supported by LinkedIn, so Vidgram automatically defaults to the hosted link delivery method.
Can I use my phone camera instead of my webcam?+
Yes. Scan a QR code from the extension and record using your phone's rear camera — no app download required. The video transfers back to the extension automatically. Your phone camera produces significantly better quality than most laptop webcams.
What if my prospect doesn't have LinkedIn Premium — can they still see the video?+
Yes. Video attachments in DMs are visible to all LinkedIn users regardless of their plan. Hosted link landing pages work in any browser — no LinkedIn account required to view them.
Do prospects know I'm using Vidgram?+
If you send as a DM video attachment, no — it appears as a normal file attachment. If you send as a hosted link, the landing page shows your name and the prospect's name. On the Free plan, hosted links include a small Powered by Vidgram footer. Pro and Team plans with a custom domain remove all Vidgram branding.
Can I edit or trim my video before sending?+
Yes. After recording, you can trim the video to remove any awkward starts or endings. You can also retake instantly without losing your script.
For Managers
Can I control what my reps are saying?+
Yes. The Messaging Console lets you configure your company's value propositions, buyer personas, industry angles, approved CTAs, and tone. When any rep generates a script, the AI pulls from this configuration automatically. Your messaging framework is built into every script without requiring rep training.
How do I know if video outreach is actually working?+
The dashboard shows videos sent, watch percentage, view counts, and delivery method breakdown across your team. For hosted links, you get real-time email notifications when a prospect watches and can see exactly how much they viewed. You'll know which reps are active and which prospects are engaging.
How long does it take to onboard a new rep?+
About 10 minutes. The rep installs the Chrome extension, visits a LinkedIn profile, and the script is already written by the AI using your Messaging Console configuration. The teleprompter handles delivery. There is no training on what to say — the messaging is built in.
Does this integrate with our CRM?+
Yes. Team plan workspaces can connect Salesforce or HubSpot to import leads, contacts, list views, and list members directly into campaigns. Vidgram auto-detects LinkedIn URL fields and supports filtering by lifecycle stage, owner, or campaign membership.
Can I import prospects from Salesforce or HubSpot into a campaign?+
Yes. When creating a campaign, choose Salesforce or HubSpot as the source instead of CSV. You can search contacts, filter by list view or lifecycle stage, preview the results, and import up to 200 prospects at a time. Scripts are pre-generated for each person.
What happens to our data if we cancel?+
Your videos, analytics, and prospect data remain accessible for 30 days after cancellation. We do not delete anything immediately.
Is there a minimum team size?+
The Team plan requires a minimum of 5 seats. For volume pricing or enterprise features like SSO, contact us for a demo. The Pro plan works for individual reps with no minimum.
Billing & Plans
Is the Free plan really free?+
Yes. No credit card required. You get 5 videos per month with full LinkedIn DM and hosted link delivery. Hosted links include a Vidgram watermark on the Free plan.
What happens if I exceed my video limit on Free?+
You can upgrade to Pro anytime for unlimited sends. Your existing videos and analytics carry over.
Can I add or remove seats mid-month?+
Yes. Add seats anytime and pay prorated. Remove seats and the change takes effect at the next billing cycle.
Does Vidgram require LinkedIn Premium or Sales Navigator?+
No. Vidgram works with any LinkedIn account — Free, Premium, or Sales Navigator.
